We’re a family-owned business with first hand car washing experience that we apply to all of the systems and products we work on.
BIll Bascom Jr. started out in the car wash industry in the late 70's with the Clean Machine Car Wash. Throughout the decade, Bill worked to grow the business into seven full service locations across Virginia. In the 80's, Clean Machine Car Wash branched out into the in-bay automatic segment as both a distributor and operator.
As the years went on, Clean Machine changed. First they sold off most of the full service sites and the distributorship. Then, brothers Matt and John Bascom worked alongside their father to grow the in-bay and self serve portion of their car wash business under the name Car Lovers. In 2019, Matt and John revamped the Clean Machine name and created Clean Machine Solutions, a business built to offer the Mid-Atlantic region a quality in-bay and self serve car wash. Today the Bascom family proudly operates 15 locations in Virginia.
